MOULDING
The vertical, green sand Disa Castings moulding process offers the speed, efficiency, quality, reliability and versatility required in manufacturing castings for medium to high volume production. Each of Chamberlin & Hills three vertically moulded DISA Castings production lines is equipped with automatic core loaders and are capable of producing a mould every 15 seconds. This cost-efficient method of manufacture allows Chamberlin & Hill to provide high-quality components at competitive prices.
CASTING
As the leading UK Cast Iron foundry, we have been manufacturing castings on site for over 125 years. During that time we have produced castings for a variety of different markets in many countries.
CORE MAKING
Cores are used within grey iron castings to form the internal geometry of parts or undercut areas that cannot be moulded. Core making facilities at Chamberlin & Hill include 14 automated shell cores and 4 cold box core shooters.
HYDRIDE
The complex castings Chamberlin & Hill produce often have internal geometry that is unreachable and unsuitable for cleaning through traditional shot blasting methods. Click here to find out more.
